Style for Grace owner featured in Albany Times Union
Thanks to Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce, I was contacted by Betsy Feldstein, a business reporter from the Albany Times Union for a feature she writes called Stepping Stones. This weekly feature highlights people who have spawned businesses in response to a person/event that occurred in their life. My life-changing moments were two-fold. First, growing up with a seamstress as a mother. Secondly, the birth of my daughter Grace. Together, they inspired the creation of Style for Grace. Since 2006, I've been piecing together this business and had tremendous help along the way. The Smart Up program at the Rensselaer County Chamber of Commerce was instrumental with setting the foundation for the business plan. I've participated in a group called Ladies Who Launch and met some tremendous and fabulous women in Albany and New York City. Lastly, I think entrepreneurial dreams cannot come to fruition without the support of family and friends.
